The following rules are written in order to protect my work and therefore you must peruse them.
DO NOT take any picture from the layout or from the gallery DO NOT use my dollz and pixels in a layout or as avatar or as signature, or as buttons etc. My dollz are only for adoptions (if you do not know what means you, read the FAQ on the bottom), except those where explicitly written "NOT FOR ADOPTION" or "NO ADOPT" that cannot be used in no way and can be show only on my site DO NOT alter my dollz and pixels no way. This means also that you cannot change the format of my dollz (from .gif to .png or .jpg etc.) DO NOT say that my works are yours and don't remove my signature or my copyright All my works (dollz, bases, pixels, graphic) CANNOT be used for gain You CANNOT publish my works in an other site (except for the adoptions), it is a theft è.é DO NOT add my dollz or pixels in a photo album or on msn etc. and do not post then in any forum (not even on the signature ù.ù) NO frankendoll, dollmakers and drag'n drop: (if you do not know what are read the F.A.Q.): you cannot use ANY part of my dollz and pixels My dollz are ONLY for adoptions: you must place them in your dollz site, on the adoptions page, and you must add near the dollz a link, textual or with banner, from my site (http://laurelinn.altervista.org/). Whichever other use is forbidden NO DIRECT LINK: if you want adopt my dollz save them to your pc and then upload them to your own server Clarify in your own adoptions page that the dollz displayed are not made by you and that to adopt them people must go to the site of their creators If you adopt my dollz, please leave a message in the tagboard: I will come to see you site^^ For the bases there are moreover specific rules that you can read here |

These are some frequent questions that are made to me.
Please, do not ask me one of the following questions ;)
I know that my english is very bad, but I hope that you still understand ;)
The pixels are small squares with which a graphic program creates an image: using squares of differents colors you can obtain images as it happens with the technique of the Pointillism (Neo-Impressionism), and landscapes or characters can be created.
 
The dollz are a particular pixel job: the bases are "dressed", like true dolls, drawing over the base hats, clothes and several accessories. They are therefore original works: every doller has her/his own style and its technique, the principles are the same of the design by hand and the painting.
For me, making dollz is not a simple hobby:
is a particular form of art. For this reason I don't want that
nobody to take my works without my permission.
The doll community have settled a few rules, precisely called the doll netiquette,
to govern the creation and the exchange of dollz and bases. In this page you can
read the rules that I have settled to use my dollz, my works and all contents of this site.

If you like my dollz you can freely save them on yours hard-disk to make a private collection, but you cannot use them in no way and above all you cannot absolutely put them into circulation in the web.
The only allowed way to show the dollz created by others is the adoption. The adoption page is as a shop-window where to display your favorites pixel job. Among the rules, you will find the directions to make the adoptions page, to see how is done you can see my Adoptions section and those of the sites on my dollz links section. To adopt the dollz it is not necessary to have a site of dollz or of pixel, you can make it also on a blog, respecting in any case the general rules.
A frankendoll is a doll-frankenstein, created stiking and
using pieces stealed from dollz created by others and
introduced as a original work. Is not only lack of respect
but a true theft è_é
The drag'n drop it is the technique with which it comes created a frankendoll, that is the copy and paste
Some sites of pixel have the dollmakers, that is
programs that allow to dress a base with premanifactured
accessories.
There are NO dollmakers here and I will not make any never =.=

I have much pleasure if someone links my site,
but in my link section I link only the sites that I like truly a lot,
for which I do not promise nothing ;)
